What if all the youth* of the world were supported and cared for by the elders in their society…
What if the elders had an unspoken pact with each other that they would not let one youth slip by unseen, unheard or unloved?
What if the elders had an agreement written on their hearts that if one could not properly support a youth, then another would step in, so that nobody would go by unsupported?
And what if those young people who were supported, guided and nurtured adopted the unspoken oath to care for the next generation, and so on?
What kind of world could we have if every person had the emotional, spiritual and psychological support and guidance they needed?
What kind of world could we have if we cultivated our own elder-hood?
*youth = anyone who is not an elder
